Steps
Practical steps you can take:
- Connect accounts via Plaid where possible, since synced data is less prone to manual entry errors than typed-in transactions.
- Use Settings to control which roles can add accounts, import statements, or edit transactions.
- Reconcile regularly so discrepancies are caught early rather than accumulating.
- Use Archive instead of any destructive action when retiring an account - your history is preserved either way.
- Only authorized users should be granted access to reconciliation and account-editing actions. Review your Settings roles periodically to confirm this is still the case.
