Steps

It's worth being clear about what "real time" means here:

  • Plaid-connected accounts sync on a periodic schedule, not instantly on every single bank-side transaction.
  • Manually uploaded statements appear immediately after the import finishes processing.
  • Balances and status counters (Needs Attention/Suggested/Escalated) refresh as soon as new data is processed, not on a fixed timer you control.

Good to Know

If your balance looks out of date, check whether the account is Plaid-connected or manual - manual accounts only update when you import a new statement.
