How to Navigate the Sales Module

The Sales module is where you manage everything related to earning revenue in Sumung: creating invoices, managing customers, tracking payments, and monitoring…

What You Can Do in This Section of Sumung

  • Create and send invoices to customers
  • Track which invoices are paid, unpaid, or overdue
  • Manage customer information
  • Maintain products and services for faster invoicing
  • Generate customer statements when payments are pending

In simple terms: this is where money coming into your business starts.

Steps

  1. From the main sidebar, locate "Get Paid" (this is the section the rest of this guide calls "Sales").
  2. Click "Get Paid" to expand the section.
  3. You will see: Invoices, Customers, Customer Statements, Products & Services.

Each section serves a specific purpose:

  • Invoices - create and manage invoices sent to customers. View drafts, sent, and overdue invoices. Record payments received.
  • Customers - stores all customer information. Add new customers. View transaction history. Track outstanding balances.
  • Customer Statements - summarize multiple invoices into one document, useful when a customer has several unpaid invoices.
  • Products & Services - save commonly sold items so invoices can be created faster and more consistently.

Typical workflow: create or select a customer → create an invoice → send the invoice → record payment when received → track overdue invoices.
