Can I Search Accounts by Name

Yes - typing an account's name into the search bar is the fastest way to find it, especially in a long list like Expenses.

Steps

  1. Go to Finances → Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click into the "Search name, ID, description..." bar.
  3. Type all or part of the account's name, such as "Cash" or "Accounts Payable."
  4. The table updates instantly to show matching accounts.
