What is Included in the Finance Module

The Finance module (found under "Finances" in the sidebar) brings together your chart of accounts, manual journal entries, budgeting, and financial reports.

Steps

The Finance module helps you:

  • Keep an organized Chart of Accounts categorized by Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Income, and Expenses.
  • Record manual Journal Entries for transactions that don't come from a bill or invoice.
  • Track Posted vs. Draft entries, with the ability to Unpost when corrections are needed.
  • View Reports built from the same underlying data.

Good to Know

Budgets is also listed under Finances but is currently marked "Coming Soon."
